Learning About Canada’s History

Author: Jacqueline~ | Filed under: Mixed Posts

In history we are learning about Canada and when all the provinces and territories were formed. We all have to write a post about what we learned and what we remembered about Canada’s history. We have to follow these prompts so here goes!

I remembered that… Nunavut was the last territory to join Canada and that the Yukon had experienced a gold rush.

I noticed that… Ontario used to be called Upper Canada and Quebec used to be called Lower Canada.

I was unaware that… Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia were the original four provinces.
