So for yet another challenge 7 post we get to write about exiting ways to start a paragraph. I think that starting your
paragraph or story with a really exiting, eye catching first sentence is very important. I think this because some of the first things people see when they are looking at a post is the image, the title and the first sentence. That’s why you would want your first sentence to be exciting. Here are a few examples of exciting sentence starters.
- This just in…
- Today I will inform you about …
- Why must…
- Did you know…
- Have you ever…
- I can’t believe…
- Guess who…
- Guess what…
You could also start a paragraph with a common saying that relates to your post! A new goal of mine is to start my posts with more exciting sentences so if you have any ideas drop me a comment. I hope you start to use descriptive and exciting sentences if you don’t already!

Hi, Jacqueline.
I really appreciated the suggestion of starting with a popular saying.
I probably saw the image first.
If the first sentence is not particularly interesting, I go on until I find/get the information I need.
I wonder if your strategies work just as well for ending stories?
